Artist Statement
This series was inspired by a trip to Hawaii. My purpose in this series was to explore the transition from black and white to color and to look at color in its most infinite possibilities. I wanted to explore color using a variety of media, including pastels, acrylics, and oils. Colors in some of the pieces were manipulated when Giclee images were printed.
